Experiment

This experiment combines hand drawn shapes with primitive shapes from my favourite library, p5js. As with most of my experiments, I am always trying to find a way to take user input and convert it into something interactive. I turned here the mouse / touch input into the focus point of the eye that chases your movements across the screen. This is one of my favourite experiments as I did quite an exploration into OP art which also gives this one this trippy vibe through a very simple illusion. Play with this own risk, as it can be quite mesmerizing, especially if you have stared enough at it, but watch out because "if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you." (Friedrich Nietzsche, “Beyond Good and Evil”, 1886).
